Gyeongsangbuk-do (governor: K Gwan-yong) published 6,000 copies of a pocketbook about Dokdo titled The Beautiful Korean Island of Dokdo to promote the erstanding and knowledge of the islands.
The handbook features not only the basic ination about Korea’s Dokdo Islands but also its history and future, and it can be read conveniently anytime, anywhere.
The 100-page 11x18.5cm handbook features seven chapters, including the overview of Dokdo, its history, the establishment of the South Korean government and Dokdo, South Koreas management and use of Dokdo, the history of Japans intrusion into Dokdo, Dokdos future, and the appendix.
