Gyengsangbuk-do holds Dokdo Healing Camp event at Yeongcheon Hope Center
Gyeongsangbuk-do (governor: Kim Gwan-yong) held the dream-inspiring Dokdo Healing Camp event at Yeongcheon Hope Center on January 13.
er the Dokdo Healing Camp campaign, we deliver the touching and inspiring stories of Dokdo to the alienated areas of our society, and share their dreams about Dokdo in a bid to promote the Dokdo Islands among the South Korean nationals.
In this Dokdo Healing Camp, a special lecture titled “I Love You, Dokdo” was given; Dokdos overview, history, natural scenes, and cultural and artistic aspects were presented; and a video titled “Day of Sapsalgage, the Dokdo Keeper Dog” was shown, featuring the lives of the Dokdo residents.
This was followed by events such as “Dokdo Golden Bell Quiz” and “Writing Postcards to the Dokdo Guards” to further promote Dokdo’s image as a friend. Also, the “Hope” event was held to inspire dreams and hopes about Dokdo in the participants
