October, Gyeongbuk Public Delivery App Mukkebi “Abundant” Discount & Event

Gyeongsangbuk-do Province (Governor Cheolwoo Lee) told that the Gyeongbuk public delivery app “Mukkebi
” has successfully landed in the delivery app market with 52,800 accumulated orders and over a total sales of 1.2 billion won as of September 29.
Not only that, the number of accumulated members has passed 71,000 people, 6,700 shops have completed registering as an affiliate store, and more than 10,000 affiliate stores are predicted to join the app by the end of this year. The Province further revealed that they are currently conducting a demand survey of cities and counties to expand operating regions of the public delivery app for the next year.
Backed by such popularity, the Gyeongbuk public delivery app Mukkebi is giving out coupons with the concept of “Gyeongbuk Public Delivery App with Discounts All Weekend Long” in welcoming October. The app offers a 3,000 won coupon to 3,000 people and 5,000 respectively for the two days of every Saturday and Sunday that have the highest order volume, and offers a 3,000 won coupon to 1,000 people on a first-come-first-served basis at lunchtime (10 am–2 pm) every Wednesday.
Moreover, the app will be providing benefits to consumers by extending the period of the 2,000 won re-order coupon event, which is applied after completing two orders, until the end of the year. As in September, the review event will continue in October, and members can automatically enter the event by leaving a review after an order from October 1 to 31. A total of 155 winners, including the 1st place winner who will be given a max. of 100,000 won coupon, will be announced on Friday, November 5. Meanwhile, in collaboration with Gyeongbuk Nonghyup, they will present domestic agricultural products as giveaways through drawing lots for the delivery app’s 30th open day anniversary event. One 1st place winner will receive a Korean beef set worth 500,000 won, two 2nd place winners will receive a Korean beef set worth 200,000-300,000 won, and six 3rd place winners will receive a fruit set, etc., and a total of 149 winners will be announced on October 8.
Gyeongsangbuk-do Province is actively promoting the public delivery app via an order relay event, publicizing in related organizations, and so forth. In October, they will be spurring consumer promotion through on-site consumer promotion, Daegu & Gyeongbuk College Student eSports Competition, and 2021 Gyeongbuk Food Expo. In addition, to attract various franchisers and the region’s preferred affiliate stores to the app, they will also continuously run affiliate-store promotion in a joint effort with Gyeongbuk Economic Promotion Agency and the Gyeongbuk Branch of Korea Foodservice Industry Association.
Gyeongbuk Governor Cheolwoo Lee said, “The Gyeongbuk public delivery app is settling amid wholehearted support from small business owners and fervent response from citizens,” and added, “We will carry out active PR with diverse events to boost the use of the Gyeongbuk public delivery app so it can become a driving force for enlivening the street economy in a challenging time for small business owners.”
