Gyeongsangbuk-do hosts special online sale to help farming households affected by Typhoon Hinnamnor

On September 14, Gyeongsangbuk-do announced that it will host a special sale to help farming households affected by Typhoon Hinnamnor on Cyso, Gyeongsangbuk-do’s online local market platform.
Gyeongsangbuk-do planned this special sale event in order to promote and support the sales of products produced by local farms and businesses, and to give people from across the country and all parts of the community send a helping hand to those hit by Typhoon Hinnamnor.
This special sale event will offer up to 50% discounts on products, including fruits and processed products produced by 14 affected farms (farming companies) among the farms registered on Cyso. It will also continue to follow up with affected farming households to join the event.
In addition, Gyeongsangbuk-do will offer KRW 5,000 discount coupons for the special sale event to Cyso members who leave comments to support Typhoon-damaged farming households and give them a chance to help affected farms.
Gyeongsangbuk-do also plans to host a voluntary charity donation program for farms registered on Cyso, and to sell products from affected farms in person.
“We pray for a swift return to normalcy for our local farmers and fishermen who are suffering severely from the havoc wreaked by the recent typhoon,” said the Director of the Division of Agriculture and Stockbreeding Distribution Bureau of Gyeongsangbuk-do.
